Non members
If you are not a member of the AAGBI and would like to become one, please go to www.aagbi.org/about-us/becoming-member where you will be able to download an application form.

*Those wishing to apply for membership in order to take advantage of the reduced members rate, must apply at least two weeks prior to the early-bird discount deadline date of 15 December 2017.

Retired & Honorary Members
Retired members of the AAGBI are entitled to a 50% discount. Honorary members are entitled to free registration (Please contact the events team directly to arrange this).

Workshop fees
Delegates wishing to attend any of these sessions will be required to pay a  fee in addition to the conference registration fee. This fee will depend on which workshop you attend, please visit the workshops section of this website to see the fees.

Electronic badging
At this event your badge will contain a barcode, this will be scanned on entry so that the Association of Anaesthetists can report on the attendance for each day, the data is kept by the association and NOT divulged to any other parties at any time.

The exhibitors will have the opportunity to hire scanners for data capture, they will only have access to your email and hospital name. If you do not want the exhibitor to scan your badge you can decline their offer.

 

Data protection
The name, hospital and location you provide during the booking process will be used on the delegate list and on the attendee list of the conference app. If you do not wish for this information to be included please let us know by emailing events@aagbi.org.

 

Continuing education & professional development (CPD)
WSM London is CPD accredited for consultants and other non-training grades. The GMC does not require you to be a member of a college or faculty CPD scheme, to undertake a specific number of hours of CPD each year or to acquire a particular number of CPD credits. However, the AAGBI recognises that there are those who wish to keep a tally of their CPD points. This meeting has been awarded 5 CPD points per day.

Your CPD certificate and receipt will be available to download post conference from your log in, on the AAGBI website:

1.    Log in, using your membership / non member number and password
2.    In the blue, left hand menu, click ‘View my AAGBI CPD’
3.    Find ‘Meeting Name and Date’, click ‘Print Certificate / Receipt’

If you do not know your password, you can enter your email address and membership number, and this will be emailed back to you. If you do not know your membership number, please email members@aagbi.org. If you believe your certificate is incorrect, please email events@aagbi.org.


European & USA Accreditation

This has been applied for under 'Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britian & Ireland' or 'WSM London' with the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

 

Cancellation policy
Cancellations received in writing before the 13 December 2017 will be subject to an administration charge of £25. Delegates cancelling after this date will be liable to pay the full meeting price unless the AAGBI considers there to be exceptional circumstances that would warrant a refund.
